The Team New Era Diamond Girls are the Elite Fast Pitch Travel Softball Organization in Western New York. The organization develops well-rounded, team-oriented players who excel at the highest levels of competition. The goal of the Team New Era Diamond Girls organization is to maximize the development of the player's skills (both individual and team) by providing world-class, year round indoor and outdoor dedicated practice and game facilities as well as instruction. Click on the “Facilities” link to read more about NEW ERA PARK, the Premier Training Facility in WNY.
The vision of the organization is to provide the opportunity for all of our student-athletes to excel in high school softball and the opportunity to become college scholarship softball players. We also promote a positive attitude for our players, coaches, and parents in all situations--in victory and defeat--both on and off the field. We are humble in victory and accept losses with dignity. The organization strives to teach that a positive attitude is the best approach for everything in life.
Last season, the Team New Era Diamond Girls teams were very successful, proving that hard work and dedication go a long way. The organization had 17 Tournament or League Championships and 5 second place finishes. Two of the 14U Teams had outstanding years and finished in the top 10 at Pony Nationals (5th and 9th)
Most of our teams play in the Niagara Frontier League, the Elite Fast Pitch Travel Softball League in the WNY. They will not only play in the best tournaments in the area, but will travel to many of the top tournaments in the Region. The teams will travel to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Canada, and other parts of New York. Our teams plan to qualify and be competitive at the different National Championship tournaments this coming 2008 season.
The organization continues to have success and grow year after year. In 2006, we fielded 5 teams (one 10U, two 12U, one 14U, and a 16U). In 2007 we fielded 8 teams (a 10U, two 12U, three 14U, one 16U, and one 18U. In 2008 we fielded 9 teams (a 10U, two 12U, three 14U, two 16U, and an 18U).
